3. Turn the lock lever of the V6 to the
right to lock the multi-system shoe
(m a l e).
4. When detaching the V6 from the camera’s
hot shoe, turn the lock lever to the left
t o u n l o c k t h e m u lti- s y st e m s h o e (m a le).
Otherwise, the multi-system shoe (male)
may be damaged.
Note: At t a c h y o u r a s h t o t h e V 6 a s y o u
would to the camera’s hot shoe. If your ash
is not locked securely on the Multi-System
S h o e (fe m a l e), t r y h a lf-lo c k i n g t h e a s h a n d
retracting it slightly from the Multi-System
Shoe until the locking pin hits the pinhole.

The V6 control panel is equipped with a
Menu button , an OK button , and a
selection dial for quick access to
different functions and the conf iguration
menu.
The selection dial has a built-in push-in
button that serves as a quick OK button. You
may conf igure how the dial works to suit
y o u r w o r k i n g h a bit. (s e e S e c tio n s 15.1 -
15.3).
