The following sections describes these commands in detail.
This command enables access to the SMART features of the Cactus Technologies® -503 series
Compact Flash devices. For this command to take eect, the following signature bytes must be
loaded:
Cylinder Low – 4Fh
Cylinder High - C2h
The state of SMART (enabled/disabled) is preserved across power cycles.
SMART Disable Operations
5.2.
This command disables access to the SMART features of the Cactus Technologies® -503 series
Compact Flash devices. For this command to take eect, the following signature bytes must be
loaded:
Cylinder Low – 4Fh
Cylinder High – C2h
The state of SMART (enabled/disabled) is preserved across power cycles.
