5.1.27. Set Multiple Mode-C6H
The Set Multiple Mode command enables the drive to perform Read and Write Multiple operations
and establishes the block count for these commands. Currently, max. Multiple count is 1.
5.1.28. Set Sleep Mode-99H, E6H
These commands put the drive into sleep mode.
5.1.29. SMART-B0H
This command implements the ATA S.M.A.R.T feature set; details are in the S.M.A.R.T section.
5.1.30. Standby, Standby Immediate-96H, E2H, 94H, E0H
The Standby and Standby Immediate commands put the drive into standby mode.
5.1.31. Translate Sector-87H
This is a NOP command for the drive. The sector count register will always return 0.
5.1.32. Write Buer-E8H
The Write Buer command enables the host to overwrite contents of the drive’s sector buer with
any data pattern desired. This command has the same protocol as the Write Sector(s) command and
transfers 512 bytes.
