LGM Port Administration
This view provides the following fields.
PortAddress
A read-only field that gives the virtual port
address.
StartMode
A read-write field having the value of either
automatic
,
erase
, or
off
(the default value).
Setting it to
erase
will fail if the LGM port has any
non-removed channels. If successful, it displays
the initial port configuration (with its default
values) and erases any channels defined on this
port.
Update
A read-only field that gives the LGM port status.
The possible values are
loaded
,
updateReq
, and
resetReq
(the default value).
Arq
A read-write field that specifies ARQ speed in bps,
which may not exceed 9600, The possible values
are
3200
,
6400
, and
9600
(the default value).
Group
A read-write field intended to force channels to
use specific groups of LGM ports. There can be up
to seven groups for each LGM port. Bit map bits 1
through 7
indicate the group(s) of the LGM. The
default value is 7.
