APPN Views
Network Node View
To access: Click on the Network Node Information button in the APPN
Information View. This view contains global information about the
APPN network node.
Rcv Registered Char Indicates whether the node supports receiving registered characteristics.
Gateway Node Indicates whether the node is a gateway node.
Central Dir Cache Indicates whether the node supports central directory cache.
Route Tree Cache Indicates whether the node supports route tree cache.
Increm Tree Update Indicates whether the node supports incremental tree-update. (This can only
be supported if tree caching is supported.)
Route Addn Resist Route addition resistance is a value that indicates the relative desirability of
using this node for intermediate session traffic. The value (0 through 255), is
used in route computation. The lower the value, the more desirable the node
is for intermediate routing.
Int Session Routing Indicates whether the node supports intermediate session routing or not.
Flow Reduc Seq Num Flow Reduction Sequence Numbers (FRSNs) are associated with Topology
Database Updates (TDUs) and are unique only within each APPN network
node. A TDU can be associated with several APPN resources. This field
shows the last FRSN sent in a topology update to adjacent network nodes.
