RS232 Port Output Signals Table View
The view provides the number of output signals for the port. The table contains entries only
for those signals the software can detect.
To access: Click on the Output Signals Detail button in the RS232 Port Table
Configuration View.
Port ID The unique numeric identifier for the port corresponding to the table entry.
Signal Name Indicates the hardware signal. Possible entries are:
rts Request to Send
cts Clear to Send
dsr Data Set Ready
dtr Data Terminal Ready
ri Ring Indicator
dcd Received Line Signal Detector
sq Signal Quality Detector
srs Data Signaling Rate Selector
srts Secondary Request to Send
scts Secondary Clear to Send
sdcd Secondary Received Line Signal Detector
State The current signal state. Possible entries are: None, On, & Off.
Changes The number of times that the signal has changed its signal state.
CTS When enabled, this field indicates that a CTS (Clear To Send) signal is
generated.
DSR When enabled, this field indicates that a DSR (Data Set Ready) signal is
generated.
