Chapter 3: Software Installation and Setup
Note:
In this example, the location “pc-flash” indicates that the SSR 2100 is set to
use the factory-installed system software in the motherboard’s internal flash
chip.
2. Copy the software upgrade you want to install onto a TFTP server that the SSR 2100
can access. (Use the ping command to verify that the SSR can reach the TFTP server.)

in the SSR 2100:

Note:
You do not need to activate this change.
Loading Boot PROM Software
The SSR boots using the boot PROM software installed in the SSR 2100’s internal memory.
To upgrade the boot PROM software and boot using the upgraded image, use the
following procedure.
system image add <IPaddr-of-TFTP-host> <image-file-name>
ssr# system image add 10.50.11.12 ssr2000
Downloading image 'ssr2200' from host '10.50.11.12'
to local image ssr2200 (takes about 3 minutes)

ssr# system image list
