error Logs fatal messages and error messages.
warning Logs fatal messages, error messages, and warning messages. This is the
default.
info Logs all messages, including informational messages.
<facility-type>
Type of facility under which you want messages to be sent. By default, unless
specified otherwise, messages are sent under facility local7. The facility-type can be
one of the following:
kern kernel messages
user user messages
daemon daemon messages
local0 Reserved for local use
local1 Reserved for local use
local2 Reserved for local use
local3 Reserved for local use
local4 Reserved for local use
local5 Reserved for local use
local6 Reserved for local use
local7 Reserved for local use
<source-IPaddr>
Source IP address of the messages sent to the Syslog server. You must specify a
Unicast IP address in the form a.b.c.d.
<size>
The Syslog message buffer size. The size specifies how many messages the Syslog
buffer can hold. You can specify a number from 10 – 50, giving the buffer a capacity to
hold from 10– 50 Syslog messages. The default is 10.
