Reroute Threshold
The percentage improvement in the cost that the
new SPVC path must have over the current SPVC
path before a reroute will be performed.
Lowest Priority
The value of lowest priority for SPVCCs.
Dflt UBR B’Width
The default bandwidth in Kilo-CPS to be used for
UBR SPVCs.
Backoff Interval
The time interval to backoff a DTL that failed call
setup. The DTL will not be used again until this
interval has elapsed. The interval will not be
applicable if backoff is disabled on the SPVC.
Trap Mode
This specifies whether the switch should send the
following traps: spvcRerouteInitiated,
pnniSpvccUp, pnniSpvccFail pnniSpvvccDown,
nniSpvccFail, and pnniSpvccUp. The options are
reroute, failure, all, or none.
Smart Permanent Virtual Path Connections
(SPVPCs)
Pace Interval
The time interval between successive callbacks to
the SPVCPC controller to open connections to the
destinations of a batch of SPVCCs. This
parameter along with Pace Num SPVPCs control
the rate at which the SPVPCs that are down are
established.
Reroute Interval
The time interval between successive callbacks to
the SPVPC controller to reroute existing SPVPC
connections if a better path is available to the
destination. This is one of the parameters that
control the rate at which rerouting is attempted.
Pace Num SPVPCs
The number of SPVPCs that are attempted to be
rerouted by the SPVPC controller per ReRoute
Interval. Thus it determines the rerouting rate.
Reroute Threshold
The percentage improvement in the cost that the
new SPVPC path must have over the current
SPVPC path before a reroute will be performed.
Lowest Priority
The value of lowest priority for SPVPCs.
Trap Mode
This specifies whether the switch should send the
following traps: spvcRerouteInitiated,
pnniSpvccUp, pnniSpvccFail pnniSpvvccDown,
nniSpvccFail, and pnniSpvccUp. The options are
reroute, failure, all, or none.
