window in which a cell may be received on a
signaling channel and accepted. A cell that is
received on a channel outside the CDV window
will be dropped. The signaling path CDV value
overrides the default value of a switch CDV.
Action
The policing action the switch will take in case of
bandwidth violation on a signaling channel. The
value set here overrides the default value of
switch policing Action. Possible values are tag
and drop.
Remote ATM
The ATM address of the entity connected to this
signaling path.
Remote IP
The IP address of the entity connected to this
signaling path.
Type
The type of the signaling path connection. uni
(Unit Network Interface) means that there is a
host on remote side, while nni (Network Network
Interface) means there is another switch, that
speaks SPANS, on the remote side.
Topology Configuration View
Access: From the Software Switch Configuration View,
click the Topology button.
Hello Interval
The time interval in milliseconds between
successive Hello Indication messages sent by
SPANS.
NSAP Ind Interval
The time interval in milliseconds between
successive NSAP Indication messages sent by
SPANS.
Static Update Interval
The time interval in milliseconds between
successive refreshes of NSAP static routes in the
NSAP topology.
Max Hop Count
The upper limit on the number of hops in the
source routes computed by the NSAP router.
ACR Proportional Mult
The proportional multiplier expressed as a
percentage of Available Cell Rate (ACR). If the
percentage change of the ACR of any given link in
the NSAP topology exceeds this threshold, then
the change is deemed significant.
