Some of the fields in the Path, Channels,
Topology, and Signaling Tables views are used to
set connection information. Changes to these
tables affect the format of some of the fields in the
tables listed below.
• Path - Originating, Through, and Terminating
Tables
• Channels - In and Through Tables
• Topology - NSAP Admin Tables
• Signaling - SPANS Path and Q2931 Admin
Tables
In order to change the fields in these tables, the
Community Name field in the Communication
Information panel of the Model Information view
must be set to “private” or whatever the
community name is for read/write privileges.
To create, change, or delete rows in the tables
listed in the above paragraph, you must first
select the row as follows:
1 Select the desired table from the Icon
Subviews menu.
2 Set the path information for the row you wish
to create, change, or delete.
3 Click Enter and then OK.
To create or change the row after selecting it, do
the following:
1 Click Create.
2 Change the applicable fields in the change
view.
3 Click the right mouse button and select OK.
4 Click Validate Row and click the right mouse
button to return to the table view and see the
change.
To remove the row after selecting it, do the
following:
1 Click Remove.
2 Click Update. The row will be removed from
the table view.
Path Tables
These tables contain Path information about the
virtual paths originating from, terminating at, or
passing through the device. The following tables
are available:
• Originating Path Table
• Terminating Path Table
• Through Path Table
