Overflows
The number of cells dropped because the output
buffer was full.
Errors
The number of cells containing errors.
Carrier
The presence or absence of a carrier at this port.
Global Index
The global index of this port within the ATM
switch as a whole.
Name
The name of the port indicating the board
network module and port identifiers.
Admin Status
The administrative state of the physical layer of
this port. When a port is configured “Up”, the
physical layer is configured to process all physical
layer events including the transmission and
reception of data (cells). When a port is configured
“Down”, the physical layer is shut down and
ignores all physical layer events.

Configuration View
This view includes the following fields that
describe the workstation ATM configuration.
Hardware Version
The version of the ATM adaptor hardware. The
number is encoded into six hexadecimal digits.
Hardware Speed
The speed of the ATM adaptor hardware.
Firmware Version
The version of the ATM adaptor firmware. The
number is encoded into six hexadecimal digits.
Software Version
The version of the ATM adaptor software. The
number is encoded into six hexadecimal digits.
Uptime
The length of time since the workstation
connection was created, in hundredths of a
second.
Serial Number
The serial number of the ATM adaptor hardware.
Adapter Type
The workstation adapter type number
