Fore ATM User Application
(ForeUserApp)
The ATM User (ForeUserApp) application provides
connection information for devices containing a
FORE Systems, Inc., ATM adaptor card. The
application represents the device’s interface with
the ATM network. This application provides the
following subviews:
• Fore User Application Configuration View
• Connection Table (Page 108)
Fore User Application
Configuration View
Access: From the Icon Subviews menu for the ATM User
Application, select Configuration.
This view includes the following fields that
describe the device’s ATM connection.
Hardware Version
The version of the ATM adapter hardware. The
number is encoded into six hexadecimal digits.
Hardware Speed
The speed of the ATM adapter hardware.
Firmware Version
The version of the ATM adapter firmware. The
number is encoded into six hexadecimal digits.
Software Version
The version of the ATM adapter software. The
number is encoded into six hexadecimal digits.
Uptime
The length of time since the connection was
created, in hundredths of a second.
Serial Number
The serial number of the ATM adaptor hardware.
Adaptor Type
The device’s adaptor type number.
Rec Carrier
The presence or absence of a carrier on the link.
Port Number
The number of the port selected.
Oper Status
The current operational state of the adaptor.
ATM Address
The address of this ATM adaptor.
Physical Layer
The physical layer of the adaptor.
