Dual SCP (Switch Control
Processor) Application
Configuration View
Access: From the Icon Subviews menu for the
ForeDualSCPApp icon, select Configuration.
Dual SCP Configuration Table
A table for the current state of Dual Switch
Control Processor configuration.
Slot
The slot number for this Switch Control Processor
(SCP).
State
Displays whether the switch is operating with
single or dual SCPs. The value other denotes that
both SCPs are present but communication is not
yet established. Possible values are standalone,
dual, and other.
SyncState
This variable contains the current state of
synchronization.
Primary
Controls which SCP is designated as the primary
SCP, either slotX or slotY.
Failover
Allows you to enable or disable the dual SCP
failover mechanism. When set to disable, the
backup SCP will not take over if the main SCP
goes down.
Sync Requests
This can be used to manually synchronize the
entire flash or any of the specified files. syncInit
reformats the entire flash. Other possible values
are syncIdle, syncFlash, syncCdb,
syncPassword, syncLescConfig, syncOS.
Sync Failures
The number of times synchronization has failed.
