The devices support the following common applications described in the
Application View Reference.
• MIB-II (SNMP2_Agent)
- ICMP (ICMP_App)
- System (System2_App)
- TCP (TCP2_App)
- UDP (UDP2_App)
The Application Views
Refer to Chapter 1, Introduction, for information on accessing SPECTRUM
views from the Device icon and accessing device-specific subviews.
The Application views can be displayed in two modes. The Icon mode displays
the applications as icons. The List mode displays the applications as text
labels. To change the Application view display mode, in the Application view
select View -> Mode -> List or Icon.
The Application view modes are illustrated on the following pages. Figure 5-1
shows an example of the ForeRunner Application view in the Icon mode.
Figure 5-2 shows an example of the Workstation Application view in the List
mode.
NOTE
Notice in the illustrations that the Routing (GenRtrApp) and IP Routing
(IP2RtrApp) applications are accessible from both the ForeRunner and
Workstation Application views. This may not be the case with your system,
depending upon your network setup.
