Port Table
This table provides the following port information for the devices:
Board
The index of this port’s switch board.
Module
The network module of this port.
Port
The number of this port within its network module.
Version
The version number of this port’s network module.
Model
The model number of this port’s network module.
Oper. Status
The operational status of this port.
Buffer Size
The logical size of this port’s output buffer, in cells.
Queue Length
The number of cells in this port’s output buffer.
Overflows
The number of cells dropped because the output buffer was full.
Errors
The number of cells containing errors.
Carrier
The presence or absence of a carrier at this port.
Global Index
The global index of this port within the ATM switch as a whole.
Name
The name of the port indicating the board network module and port
identifiers.
Admin Status
The administrative state of the physical layer of this port. When a port is
configured “Up”, the physical layer is configured to process all physical layer
events including the transmission and reception of data (cells). When a port is
configured “Down”, the physical layer is shut down and ignores all physical
layer events.
