Device Icon Panel
• Highlight theUngermann Bass device icon and select Device ->
Interface from the Icon Subviews menu.
Device Icon Panel
The Device Icon Panel displays the Ungermann Bass Hub Location/Topology
View Icon. The icon provides the same functionality for the Location/Topology
View Icon as described in How to Manage a Network with SPECTRUM.
Logical Interface Icons
An Ungermann Bass Hub Device View displays a logical representation of
each of the router’s interfaces. An interface icon represents each port on the
Ungermann Bass Hub. Additional views for the interface can be accessed by
single-clicking the interface icon to highlight it and selecting Icon Subviews
from the File menu or double-clicking with the right mouse button on the
icon’s zones. The Port Notes facility is also accessed from the Icon Subviews
menu.
The Logical Interface Icon consists of six zones, or labels, providing
configuration and performance information. Figure 2-8 provides a detailed
illustration of the Logical Interface Icon and the following sections detail each
icon zone.
