Frame Type
With local servers on your LAN, make sure to select the proper frame type for the IPX network number.
To determine this, consult with your network administrator. When you have only NetWare clients on
your LAN, leave the default (802.2) selected as most clients support any type.
The frame type choices are:
802.2
Default recommended by Novell
802.3
Other most common type
DIX
For DEC, Intel, Xerox; this setting is also referred to as “Ethernet II”, and is rapidly
becoming obsolete.
