2. The configuration dialog for DSL is divided into two parts: the DSL
configuration and the ethernet configuration. Make the following set-
tings for DSL:
User the name of the user
Password password of the user
Flat rate if you have a flat rate, activate the ‘Flat Rate Settings’ check
box
Idle Time (sec) If you do not have a flat rate, specify the time in sec-
onds after which the DSL connection should be closed if no data
is transmitted.
Modify resolv.conf If you activate this check box, the script modify_
resolvconf temporarily modifies the configuration file resolv.
