Introduction
This chapter provides an overview of this document and the CS2and MMS2 software.
Purpose of This Document
This Software Release Notice (SRN) accompanies the CD containing the Core
Supplement (CS2) and Management Module Supplement (MMS2) software for
SPECTRUM Enterprise Manager 5.0rev1. The SRN is also available on
Cabletron’s Web site at: http://www.cabletron.com/support/ .
This SRN performs the following functions:
• Describes the purpose of this software release.

• Lists the SunOS patches required to run SPECTRUM 5.0rev1 on the
