MMS2 Software Characteristics
This chapter describes the contents of the MMS2 software.
MMS2 provides updated and additional management modules and support as
described in this chapter. The following topics are covered:

New Support and Functionality in MMS2
The MMS2 software provides SPECTRUM 5.0rev1 with support for the items
listed below.
1. Cabletron Network Address Translator MIB.
2. Cabletron Dynamic Host Configuration Protocol.
3. Cabletron Remote Access MIB.
4. Cabletron SSR-2000 device in SM-CSI1091.
5. Cabletron HSIM-W6 interface module.
6. BayStack 350 and 450 devices in SM-BAY1000. Their model types are
HubBaySt350 and HubBaySt450.
7. Cabletron 9A100, 6A000, and SmartSwitch 2500 devices in SM-CSI1085.
8. A new Beta management module (SM-CIS1005) supporting the Cisco
MC3810 device.
9. Cabletron 9T427-16 device in SM-CSI1083.
