CS2 includes the deliverable files listed in the section titled Files Shipped
With CS2, starting on Page 6-1.
Problems Resolved in CS2
CS2 provides resolutions for the following problems, which have not been
addressed in any previous off-cycle releases.
1. The UpTime attribute in SpectroWATCH formulas has been changed to
type TimeTicks to avoid wrap-around errors and ensure the accuracy of
certain load computations.
2. A new relation now exists for FddiConcentrators to prevent model
destruction in the Lost & Found view.
3. processd now auto-restarts your SSAPI applications.
4. The date in the sw_alrm_script is now presented in month/day format.
5. AutoDiscovery now puts WA_Links on a Frame Relay interface, as it did
in 4.0rev3/MMS3.
6. The CLI Seek command no longer causes the SpectroSERVER to core
dump.
7. An option has been provided giving the SPECTRUM Administrator the
ability to allow read-only users to acknowledge alarms.
8. On Solaris 2.7, SpectroGRAPH no longer crashes during Find and in
Attribute Browser.
9. The CsDateTime class was modified to ensure that date and time
references are in the language and format suitable for your geographic
locale.
10. The user Editor now sends all common attributes to the server, not just
those attributes that are visible to the user.
11. Security string inheritance now propagates correctly, even when some of
the intermediate security strings are empty.
12. Watches no longer fail reading some internal attributes.
13. Pingable models now receive Alerts generated from SNMP Traps.
14. Final changes have been made to allow printing of more than one model
per page.
15. SPECTRUM Data Export scheduling no longer fails with the message:
Not authorized to use cron.
16. Cisco 2501s and 7500s modeled as Rtr_Cisco are no longer missing
applications and lacking necessary containers.
