Starting the MMS3 Install on Windows NT Systems
1. Open the Start menu and select the Run option. The Run dialog
box displays.
2. In the Open field, enter the letter designation for your CD-ROM
drive followed by the directory and application name as in the
following example using the E drive:
E:\mms3\setup.exe
3. Click OK in the Run dialog box to bring up the SPECTRUM
Installation screen.
4. Click Next at the bottom of the Welcome window to bring up the
Choose Destination Location window. (Cancel exits the
installation GUI.)
5. If the Destination Directory field does not show the path to the
directory where you want to install MMS3, use Browse to locate
and select the proper <SPECTRUM Home> directory.
6. Click Next when the Destination Directory field is correct to
bring up the Setup window, or click Cancel to exit.
The Setup window lets you monitor the progress of the installation
process. Of the three vertical gauges displayed, the right-most
gauge shows the space available on the target system. When the
available space falls to below 5%, the Low indicator turns RED.
The Setup window exits automatically when the installation
software finishes loading MMS3.
