9032277-04 Software Superseded by CS3/MMS3
5-59
Patches Issued Since the CS2/MMS2 Release
The resolution was to reduce the size of the external attribute request
list to the device by half and making two request lists instead of one.
This was necessary because the the list of requests being sent to the
device was too large for the device to handle.
--
The problem was SpectroSERVERs participating in a virtual
landscape map were not sending updates when they updated their
own copy of the map. Therefore, servers in the map ended up with
dissimilar maps.
The resolution was to correct the "force" flag from not persisting past
the first update of a virtual landscape map and to correct the "reset
sequence" flag so that it will not be sent out when an update contains
no changes.
--
The problem was the installation of Spectrum_5.0rev1.P100 was
failing due to the following missing .o files:
CsPSWStatus.o
CsIHDelIfs.o
CsTpGenMI.o
CSEU-TPGEN.e
This was due to a unique installation configuration at the customer
site.
The resolution was to include the above files in this Off-Cycle Release.
--
The problem was the E2, E3 & E4 microlans of the 6E123-50 were all
BLUE and showed a status of INV in the Device Chassis View when
viewed on from a workstation running Solaris 2.6. With Solaris 2.7
the E2, E3 & E4 microlans show no problems.
The resolution was to create a new PORTS_STATE attribute at the
SS8H level so that all SS2000 devices pick up this attribute. The
configuration process can then continue as normal. Also, the error
condition for the IH will not be set to FAILURE when it sees the
DEVICE_MDL_HANDLE attribute does not exist.
