Patches Issued Since the CS2/MMS2 Release
Software Superseded by CS3/MMS3 Software Release Notice for 5.0rev1
5-58 CS3 and MMS3
The problem was a SpectroGRAPH core dump was occurring when the
cacheZoomedImages from False to True and the defaultZoomLevel
was set to 50%. A core trace was made available. Further, if the
resource "*shadow" in the spectrum file is set to "false" setting
*cacheZoomedImages to true dumps SpectroGRAPH.
The resolution was to modify SPECTRUM so that SpectroGRAPH will
not core dump whether or not "*shadow" is set to "true" or "false" and
whether or not cacheZoomedImages is set to "true" or "false" and the
defaultZoomLevel was set to 50%.
--
The problem was after loading firmware revision 2.21 on a 3Com
LinkSwitch (LS) [Superstack II] 3300 device, a ""Device not
Configured" message appears in the DevTop View.
The resolution was to modify the algorithm for creating the 3Com
LinkSwitch Chassis model in the DevTop view after firmware revision
2.21 is loaded.
--
The problem was there was a SpectroGRAPH core dump when exiting
a BdgCSIFDM DevTop View. An adb core trace as well as a Purify
trace were made available.
The resolution was to correct the array by the traces.
--
The problem was GRAY models in SPECTRUM were turning GREEN
based on the success of a ping request even though Primary
Management was not available.
The resolution to this was to remove the disassert call from the
are_you_up method. Previous changes assure that GRAY models are
pinged on the poll cycle, this will ensure that the model will not stay
GRAY, but will transition to ORANGE on the next poll cycle.
--
The problem was the port status for SEHI-24 and SEH-24 model types
was blank on each port model in the Device Chassis View. The port
status should be located in the upper right hand corner of the port
model.
