9) Not Importing Active Links
When importing the SPECTRUM Trouble Ticket Form you may
choose not to import the SpectrumView and SimilarTickets active
links. In this case when you display the SPECTRUM Trouble Ticket
the buttons for these active links are displayed but when you try to
execute them nothing happens. This is a Remedy issue.
10) SpectrumView/SimilarTickets errors in DOS window
When executing the SpectrumView or SimilarTickets active links they
will function correctly but you may see an error similar to the
following displayed repeatedly in a dos window:

The solution is to add the following to the System's Path environment
variable:

The problem was that AlarmNotifier was getting error messages from
SSAPI saying that it couldn't connect to multiple SpectroSERVER's
(upwards of 17 for one customer) and then the application failed. This
was linked to an occurrence of a map storm. After a map storm
occurred, the AlarmNotifier was unable to connect to any
SpectroSERVERs. This caused three issues to be pinpointed for
SPECTRUM:
a. The EventNotifier and UserEditor reported SSAPI type disconnect
error messages
b. the AlarmNotifier failed with errors.
c. false map storm messages were occurring
