Installation
This chapter describes how to install the CS3and MMS3 software.
Overview
The installation procedures described in this chapter include four
basic steps that must be performed in the following order:
1. Save the files indicated and then shut down all SPECTRUM
processes. See Pre-Installation Instructions on Page 2-2.
2. Insert the CS3/MMS3 CD and run the CS3 installation program.
See Installing CS3 on Page 2-5.
3. When the CS3 installation completes, verify and modify files as
necessary. See CS3 Post-Installation Instructions on Page 2-10.
4. Run the MMS3 installation program, if necessary. See Installing
MMS3 on Page 2-11.
Although these installation procedures may appear to be similar to
those used to install the previously released CS2 and MMS2 software,
we urge you to completely read ALL of the instructions in this chapter
before proceeding.
