The problem is when Cabletron EMME, MicroMMAC and SEHi

devices reboot the security conﬁguration is deleted and must be

manually reconﬁgured on the box. The customer would like the ability

to use ECM to save and restore port locking information on these

devices. These devices use RptrRev4Mib and they do not include the

security attributes available in the RptrRev4SecMib. The

RprtrRev4SecMib cannot simply replace the RptrRev4Mib for these

devices because of ﬁrmware issues.

The resolution was to add the security attributes from the

RprtrRev4SecMib via a new model type: RptrRev4SecFrag. The

attributes created under RptrRev4SecFrag are:
