SPECTRUM Enterprise Manager 7 of 72 Bay Networks Accelar
Supported Devices
The SPECTRUM management module SM-
BAY1002 currently allows you to model six types
of Bay Networks Accelar devices as described
below.
These devices provide 10/100 and Gigabit
Ethernet as either a multi-slot chassis or as a
standalone device.
Bay Networks Accelar 1050
or
1051.
These
units provide one Gigabit port and 12
autosensing 10/100 Mbps ports. The 1051
adds LinkSafe physical Gigabit redundancy
.
Bay Networks Accelar 1100
or
1150.
These
units provide 16 autosensing 10/100 Mbps
Ethernet ports, with two expansion slots for
Gigabit or other 10/100 Mbps ports. The
1150 unit provides 4 10/100 ports and two
expansion slots
.
Bay Networks Accelar 1200
or
1250.
These
units provide up to 12 Gigabit Ethernet ports,
or up to 96 autosensing 10/100 Mbps ports,
or a combination of the two. The 1250 pro-
vides up to 6 Gigabit, or 48 10/100 Mbps
ports
.
The SPECTRUM Model
SPECTRUM uses a single device model type,
Accelar1200
, for modeling any of the supported
Bay Networks Accelar devices. Accelar1200
models are represented in SpectroGRAPH views
by Device icons. As shown below, the appearance
of the Device icon varies slightly depending on the
kind of view in which it appears.
