SPECTRUM Enterprise Manager 39 of 72 Bay Networks Accelar
Max Age
The maximum age of Spanning Tree Protocol
information learned from the network on any port
before it is discarded, in hundredths of a second.
Hello Time
The amount of time, in hundredths of a second,
between the transmission of Configuration bridge
PDUs by this node on any port when it is the root
of the spanning tree or trying to become so.
Hold Time
The amount of time, in hundredths of a second,
during which no more than two Configuration
bridge PDUs shall be transmitted by this node.
Forward Delay
The amount of time, measured in hundredths of a
second, at which a port changes its spanning
state when moving to the Forwarding state. This
determines how long the port stays in each of the
Listening and Learning states, which precede the
Forwarding state. This is also used when a
topology change is underway to age all dynamic
entries in the Forwarding Database.
Note that this value is the one the bridge is using,
in contrast to Bridge Forward Delay on Page 39,
which is the value a bridge would start using if it
were to become the root.
Bridge Max Age
The age, in seconds, bridges use for a maximum
age when acting as the root.
Bridge Hello Time
The value, in seconds, bridges use for a hello time
when acting as the root.
Bridge Forward Delay
The value, in seconds, bridges use for a
forwarding delay when acting as the root.
Enable STP
Displays whether the spanning tree protocol
should be active in this spanning tree group. The
default is true.
STP Trap Enable
Displays whether traps relating to the spanning
tree protocol should be sent for this group. The
default is true.
Port Members
Displays which ports are members this spanning
tree group.
Row Status
The status of this row.
