View.
This view displays costs associated with different
speeds of ports and OSPF configurations. It also
displays a table with OSPF information for a
particular interface.
Costs:
10 Meg
The cost associated with a 10mpbs interface.
100 Meg
The cost associated with a 100mpbs interface.
1000 Meg
The cost associated with a Gigabit interface.
Configurations:
Trap Enable
Displays whether OSPF Traps should be sent.
Auto Virt Link Enable
Displays whether automatic virtual link creation
is enabled. If enabled OSPF will create virtual
links between ABRs whether needed or not, but
adjacency will be established only when one of the
ABRs loses connection to the backbone. If this is
disabled, it is the user’s resposibity to create
virtual links when needed.
IP Configuration OSPF Table:
If Index
A unique value used to identify an interface or
VLAN.
Rtr Priority
The priority of this interface. In multi-access
networks, this is used to determine the
designated router. A value of “0” indicates the
router can not be the designated router on this
particular network. In the event of a tie in this
value, routers use their router id as a tie breaker.
The default is “1”. Possible values range from 0 to
FF.
