Supported Devices
The SPECTRUM management module SM-
CSI1077 currently allows you to model several
different types of CyberSWITCH and SmartSwitch
Access devices as described below.
CSX200 - Standalone remote access device
with Ethernet support and single WPIM. Pro-
vides twelve 10BaseTports and comes in the
following WAN configurations:
CSX201 - T1 Physical Interface with built
in CSU/DSU. Supports Time Division Mul-
tiplexing and allows for channelization of
up to 24 links.
CSX202 - Synchronous Physical Interface
(RS530). Supports data rates from 2.4
Kbps - 2.048 Mbps. External conversion
cables are used to support interfaces such
as v.35, x.21, RS449, and RS232.
CSX203 - DDS Physical Interface. Built in
CSU/DSU supports data rates of 56 and
64 Kbps for North American Standards.
CSX400 - Standalone remote access switch
with Ethernet support. Provides twelve
10BaseT Ports, two Ethernet ports, and two
WAN connections via T1, Sync, and DDS.
CSX5500 - Eight-slot passive backplane
chassis with single or dual port Ethernet con-
nections. Supports PPP, ML-PPP, and Async-
PPP protocols. ISDN BRI or PRI plug-in mod-
ules provide up to twelve BRI or three PRI
connections. Supports IP, IPX, and AppleTalk
routing.
CSX7000 - Sixteen-slot fault tolerant chassis
with passive backplane. Provides ISDN BRI or
PRI and single or dual port Ethernet. PPP,
ML-PPP, and Async PPP routing and bridging
are supported as well as multiple security
protocols.
