Buffer Pool Information Table View
Access: From the Icon Subviews menu for the
SSA_BufferApp Application icon, select Buffer Pool
Information.
This view contains the Buffer Pool Info Table view,
which provides the following information on the
configuration and status of buffers in the device.
Double-clicking on any entry within the table
opens the Buffer Pool Information view, which
allows you to set bufferPoolStatus.
bufferMgrID
Identifies which subsystem or buffer manager
owns this particular buffer pool.
bufferSize
Size of buffers (in bytes) in this pool.
bufferCount
Total number of buffers in this pool.
bufferUsage
Number of buffers from this pool currently in use.
bufferFree
Number of free buffers remaining in this pool.
bufferLowWater
Minimum number of free buffers available in this
pool. This value is updated during operation.
bufferPoolStatus
When disabled, buffers will not be distributed to
the system.
bufferLeakAnalysis
When enabled, tracking of the buffer pool will
occur.
Buffer Leak Information Table View
Access: From the Icon Subviews menu for the
SSA_BufferApp Application icon, select Buffer Leak
Information.
This view contains the Buffer Leak Info Table,
which provides a list of buffer nodes that have
been handed out by the buffer manager but not
yet returned to the proper buffer pool. It includes
the following information.
