Route
Use Route to administer IP route management to an ATM client through an Ethernet network. It allows network
management software to communicate across a network of switches.

Output Parameter Description
[Destination] IP address of a remote network. (Same as the [DestNetIP] input parameter.)
[Gateway] IP address for a gateway to the remote network. (Same as the [GatewayIP] input
parameter.)
[Flags] The flags field is a bitmask of different options:

0x1 – Route is usable (“up”)
•
0x2 – Destination address is a gateway0x4 – Host-specific routing entry
•
0x10 – Created dynamically by ICMP redirect
•
0x20 – Modified dynamically by ICMP redirect
[Refcnt] Internal/debugging information.
[Use] Number of times this route has been used to send a packet.
[Interface] Interface used for forwarding packets on this route.
