Reboot

Use Reboot to reboot the switch.

Parameters

This attribute has no parameters. Just enter reboot at the switch prompt and the switch reboots.

Operator Parameters/Permissions Description

reboot [Reboot] <reboot>

Administrator

Reboots the switch.

Note that certain switch conditions are persistent on reboot. For

example, if the LECS is stopped before the reboot, it will also

be stopped after the switch comes back up. Also be aware that if

you enter

reboot from a telnet session, it breaks any connection

you have with the switch.

Press any key during the first seven seconds after entering this

command as a way to avoid the full switch diagnostic session.

By pressing any key and then typing

go, the switch will conduct

a basic diagnostic session.
