Priority 1 Traps
ATX MIB Reference Guide 11-7
• sifRxQueues – Sent whenever the number of times that the port’s receiver has
stopped receiving packets due to buffer space shortages has exceeded the
port’s limit. See sifRxQueueThresh and sifRxQueueThreshTime.
• sifTxStormFlag – Sent whenever multicast storm protection has been invoked
for the port.
• filterThreshFlag – Sent whenever usage of a port’s combination filter has
exceeded the filter’s limits. See filterThreshold and filterThreshTime. The
following parameters are also included:
- filterLastSrc – Sent in conjunction with filterThreshFlag; This variable
does not need to be acknowledged.
- filterPortNo – Sent in conjunction with filterThreshFlag; This variable
does not need to be acknowledged.
• sfddiShortAddressing – Sent whenever an FDDI packet is received (other
than Claim/Beacon packets) with 16 bit MAC addresses.
• sfddiSmtConditionStatus – Sent whenever any of the indicated conditions has
occurred. The trap is acknowledged by a SetRequest. Each bit that is set in the
sfddiSmtConditionsStatus parameter within the SetRequest clears the
corresponding alarm condition.
• sfddiSrfConditionsStatus – Sent whenever any of the indicated conditions has
occurred. The trap is acknowledged by a SetRequest. Each bit that is set in the
sfddiSrfConditionsStatus parameter within the SetRequest clears the
corresponding alarm condition.
• sfddiSBFlag – Sent whenever the FDDI port’s optical bypass becomes stuck,
or un-stuck.
• sfddiOBSFuseBad – Sent whenever the fuse to the FDDI port’s optical bypass
becomes bad, or switched from bad to good.
• sfddiStationState – Sent whenever the FDDI port’s Station State has changed.
• debugStringId – Sent whenever the unit has a debug text string to be
displayed. The text strings are sent in a stream-like fashion, with no
acknowledgments except for the last text string [when there are no more text
strings, the unit re-sends the last text string, until it is acknowledged]. The
following parameters are also included:
- debugString – Sent in conjunction with debugStringId; This variable
does not need to be acknowledged.
