• first-bank (1)
• second-bank (2)
10.3.3 Unit Administration Group
admin {ecs-1 3}
This group contains the attributes for configuring the system level control of the
entire ATX and the overall ATX status.
10.3.3.1 Configuration Status Group
config {admin 1}
This group of variables is used by the NMS to learn and modify the configuration
status of the entire unit.
configFatalErr {config 1}
Octet String Read-Only
This is a 32 byte array which contains information about the cause of the
previous system reset. This will describe the circumstances which forced the
system software to perform a reboot. The values in the first byte have the
following meanings:
• (0) - Power failure (remaining 31 bytes are not applicable).
• (1) - Watchdog Timeout (next byte contains the hwIndex of the module which
stopped responding; remaining 30 bytes are not applicable).
• (2) - NMS Requested Shutdown (next byte contains the hwIndex of the
Packet Processing Engine; next two bytes are not applicable; next four bytes
contain the NMS’s IP address; remaining 24 bytes are not applicable).
• (3-255) - Fatal Error (next byte contains the hwIndex of the module which
encountered the error; remaining 30 bytes contain additional information).
