• Verify that Autobaud is Disabled. (If Disabled, Autobaud does not appear in the list
under Enabled Characteristics.)
• Verify that Input Speed and Output Speed are consistent with that of the device.
• Verify that Default Protocol is set to SLIP.
• Verify that Dedicated Service is set to SLIP.
• Verify that Access is either Local or Dynamic.
