SpectroGRAPH
Known SpectroGRAPH Anomalies in SPECTRUM 6.5
SPECTRUM Software Release Notice Page 75
Beginning with the release of SPECTRUM 6.0.3, a SpectroGRAPH
connection to a pre-6.0rev0 SpectroSERVER may result in warnings or
errors.
Problem 10: The multi-attribute line graph on a device’s Performance
view does not represent accurate 10 minute blocks of time in the X-Axis
labels when you scroll back in time for data.
Solution: Aprisma is aware of this problem. No determinations on its
disposition have yet been made.
Problem 11: When the createdate -- 0x00011b47 attribute is used
(such as in the Attribute Browser) it returns erroneous data.
Solution: Use the createtime attribute which deals with both date and
time. The createdate attribute will be removed from the database in a
future release of SPECTRUM.
Problem 12: In the Universe view when you navigate to View -> Jump By
Name, enter a SpectroSERVER name (VNM), click OK, then choose the
VNM and click OK, you are in the local landscape view. But when you
Jump by Name to the local landscape option, you receive an error message
that reads, Cannot Jump to the Model. Thus, you are unable to view
models in the landscape in the Jump By Name option.
Solution: This problem may be addressed in a future release of
SPECTRUM.
Problem 13: Icon sound files were removed in SPECTRUM 6.0.0 because
desktop systems now include their own sound drivers. The following sound
icons were removed from SPECTRUM: ICON_SOUND and
ICON_ROLLUP_SOUND. However, some Snd files may still be present in
SPECTRUM 6.5 which causes the following error message to appear if you
launch SpectroGRAPH from the command line:
CsExecutive::NewIcon - Icon type Snd cannot be created
because it is not linked into the SpectroGRAPH.
Solution: An installation of SPECTRUM 6.5 on a machine that has never
had SPECTRUM installed eliminates this error message. SPECTRUM
