model handle used is that of the CatStack application, not of the
device itself.
Running Enterprise Configuration Manager from
the Command Line (Solaris)
• Before you can run Enterprise Configuration Manager manually from
the command line, you must define the XUSERFILESEARCHPATH
variable.
• Use the appropriate command for your shell to set the
XUSERFILESEARCHPATH variable to the value:
<SPECTRUM directory>/app-defaults/%N
• If the XUSERFILESEARCHPATH variable is already set, then append
<SPECTRUM directory>/app-defaults/%N to the end of the value,
inserting a colon (:) separator between the values.

1 The online Enterprise Configuration Manager User’s Guide now
displays when you select Help->User’s Guide from the Enterprise
Configuration Manager menu bar. The X window manager no longer
performs unpredictably when you select attributes from devices that
display duplicate attributes.
