Corrected & Known Anomalies
SPECTRUM Software Release Notice Page 130
Empire Agent
Known Anomalies:
Problem 1: Some views may not display data associated with the Message
Queue Table of the Empire proprietary MIBs. Also, data associated with
the clientNFSCalls, clientNFSBadcalls, and clientNFSNclgets attributes of
the client NFS statistics and counters MIB branch will not display.
Solution: The Message Queue Table data will be displayed if your devices
support such programs as Oracle or other large database systems. The
client attributes do not display due to a firmware related issue.
Problem 2: Discovering TokenRingApp for a UNIX host device that has a
Token Ring NIC will result in unnecessary alarms being generated on the
device model.
Solution: This is a firmware related issue. The Token Ring MIB objects
fail some SNMP reads and, hence, alarms are displayed. However, the
device model will return to normal after one or two polls.
