SM-RVD1000, RiverDelta BSR 1000/6400
This new Management Module provides support for the RiverDelta BSR
1000 and 6400 routers, which provide DOCSIS-based services and
applications.
Added/Updated Features and Functionality
The following updates, enhancements, and changes have been made
since the last release of SPECTRUM (version 6.0.3).
ATM VCL Link Information Standardization
The menu picks, double-click zones, and display information associated
with the ATM VCL Link view have been standardized.
Decrease in SNMP Traffic
The reduction in SNMP traffic on certain interfaces that was included in
the 6.0.3 release has been extended for all interfaces, as follows. The
number of attribute reads required to display interface information on the
Device Topology view has been reduced. The benefit is a decrease in the
amount of SNMP traffic generated by SPECTRUM. Also, the load
information displayed on all Interface icons in the Device Topology and
Device views has been removed; thus, for this release and beyond, the
associated load calculations will not be available for any interfaces.
Enhancements to Cisco Device Management Modules
Syslog Enhancement
This enhancement allows you to filter out syslog events based on the
event category. It applies to the following Management Modules:
SM-CAT1002 (Catalyst 5000/5500)
SM-CIS1001 (Cisco Router)
SM-CIS1011 (Cisco Secure PIX Firewall).
