Problem 1: 9E42x-xx, 9H42x-xx, 9F426-02 and 9A426-02 device Transparent Bridging Port
tables show 0’s for “Port In Frames,” “Port Out Frames” and “Port In Discards”
statistical counter data. The devices show no statistics in the INB-2 bridge port #1 in
any of the three areas.
Solution: The only MIB-II Interface statistics supported by INB2 are InOctets, InDiscards, and
OutOctets; all other values are forced to zero (0). Consequently, the values for port 1
(INB) on the “Bridge Statistics” LM screen will always be displayed as zero (0). This
is a firmware problem.
