Token Ring Configuration View
This view provides information on the configuration of the Token Ring application. Access the Token Ring
Configuration view in one of the following ways:
• Within the Application view, highlight the
MPlusTRAPP Application Icon (page 53) and
select Configuration from the Icon Subviews
menu.
• Within the Chassis Device view, highlight the
Token Ring Label (page 44) and select
Configuration from the Icon Subviews menu.
Ring Name
Displays the ASCII name assigned to this ring.
This name defaults to Network n, where n is a
unique integer value.
Ring Number
Displays the number of the attached ring. If
SPECTRUM cannot determine the number of the
ring, a zero is returned.
Ring Speed
Displays the speed of the ring, which has a value
of 4 or 16 megabits.
Ring Status
Displays the operational state of the ring.
Opens the TR Ring Configuration View (page 76).
Opens the Token Ring Security Configuration
View (page 78).
Opens the Token Ring Station Alarm Thresholds
View (page 87).
