This section of the FddiMAC Device Configuration view provides the following configuration information on the
FDDI SMT:
SMT Version
The version of Station Management (SMT)
running.
OBS Present
Indicates whether an Optical Bypass Switch
(OBS) is connected.
T-Notify (sec)
The timer value, in seconds, used in Neighbor
Notification Protocol. The allowed range is from 2
to 30 seconds.
T-Req (milli sec)
The Target Token Rotation Time (TTRT) bid, in
milliseconds, made by this concentrator.
T-Neg (milli sec)
The winning TTRT bid, in milliseconds, on the
ring.
TVX (milli sec)
The valid transmission time, in milliseconds.
