Promiscuous Statistics Table

This table provides a list of Promiscuous Token Ring Statistic entries.

Field Description

Data Source The source of the data that this entry is configured to analyze. The

source can be any Token Ring interface on this device.

Octets The total number of octets of data in good frames received on the

network (excluding framing bits, but including FCS octets) in non-

MAC packets.

Packets The total number of non-MAC packets (excluding packets that were

not good frames) received.

Broadcasts The total number of good non-MAC frames received that were

directed to an LCC braodcast address (0XFFFFFFFFFFFF) or

(0XC000FFFFFFFF)

Multicasts The total number of good non-MAC frames directed to a local or

global multicast or functional address (not including broadcast

address).

Drop Events The total number of events in which packets were dropped by the

probe due to lack of resources. This number is not necessarily the

number of packets dropped; it is the number of times this condition

has been detected.

Owner The entity that configured this entry and is using the resources

assigned to it.
