CLI Filtering, Wildcarding, and Searching Capability
SPECTRUM now offers Command Line Interface (CLI) commands that are
more focused and reduces unwanted information improving the
performance of CLI scripts for the user. In addition to the user benefit, the
system benefits as well by requiring less system resources to execute CLI
scripts.
Filtering
In show models, output is filtered for Model Handle Range, Model Type
Handle, Model Name.
In show types, output is filtered for Model Type Handle, Model Type
Name, and Model Type Flags.
In show attributes, output is filtered for Attribute Range, Attribute
Name, and Attribute Flags.
In show events, output is filtered for user defined number of Events.
Users may also extract all 10,000 events at a time instead of being
limited to 2,000.
The “-e” option is now supported with the show command enabling the
display of text strings instead of database enumerations.
Wildcarding; Case-Sensitive/Non-Case-Sensitive; CLI
Substring Search
Users may use as many *s in the value field in the seek wildcard
command while searching the SpectroSERVER database. Models can be
searched with respect to case options and substring options.
SpectroWATCH
The user now has the capability of viewing and updating alarm status as
well as showing troubleshooter and SpectroWATCH information from the
command line using the following new commands:
The show alarm command lists the alarm status and troubleshooter
information in addition to basic alarm data
