New Utility On Windows NT To Uninstall
NutCracker
In SPECTRUM Installation, a new utility has been created that allows the
user to uninstall the NutCracker software that was used for the
installation of the previous version of SPECTRUM. The new utility queries
the Registry to ensure there are no NutCracker services running. After the
user is certain that there are no applications dependent on NutCracker,
the utility deletes NutCracker files.
Command Line Interface (CLI)
Alarm Status & Troubleshooter Info via CLI
SPECTRUM users now have the ability to view and update alarms and
assigning troubleshooters using the Command Line Interface (CLI).
Reconfig Command Line Tool Reconfigures Models
A new command line program, reconfig, reconfigures models by taking a
list of model handles and performing the reconfigure action on each
model. It reports errors, the model name and the model type. This
program is installed in the following directory: /SG-Tools.
Alarm Severity
Alarm severity conditions (create alarm sev=<alarm_severity>) has
been changed from colors to the following adjectives: Red is now Critical;
Orange is now Major; Yellow is now Minor; Green is now OK; Brown is now
Maintenance, Gray is now Lost_Contact; and Blue is now Initial.
Long Model Names
The CLINAMEWIDTH environmental variable increases model name
length from 16 to 1024 characters.
