Negotiation. When only one link partner supports
Auto-Negotiation, the mode defaults to half
duplex.
Both local and remote management for the
SmartSwitch Module provide the ability to disable
Auto-Negotiation if desired. A port that does not
support Auto-Negotiation will be read as “other”
(1).

Received Technology
These selections indicate the advertised ability of
the remote hardware or link partner. These modes
