4.2.2 Making a Release and Effect on The Construction Database
This function applies only when the Live Database on the Project Data form is unchecked.
Internal releases for design usually use the letter codes A, B, C, etc. When making the first
internal release, press the command to clear the last released database and then set the current
open revision to ‘A’. Then press ‘Issue’. The issued database will have the same name as your
current database and will have the suffix ‘A’. When making the next internal issue, just press the
issue command. Cable and raceway revision letters are assigned by comparing the current
database with the last issued database. You do have the ability to reset the last issued database
but use this capability cautiously.
